Alpha Beta Gamma at CCSF
The Zeta Beta Chapter of Alpha Beta Gamma, the international business honor society for two-year colleges.
A home for business-minded students
Alpha Beta Gamma was established in 1970 to encourage scholarship among two-year college students in business programs. It has inducted more than 100,000 students and is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies.
Our chapter, Zeta Beta, was founded at City College of San Francisco in Fall 2008 by Jeffrey Zihong Wu, with support from Phillip Pak, Peter Dang and Rachel Posman. Our meetings and events are open to all students, whatever their major.
Our mission
- Academic excellence. Recognize and encourage high achievement in business and related fields.
- Career readiness. Prepare members for transfer, internships and jobs through speakers and workshops.
- Community. Build a network of motivated students who serve CCSF and San Francisco.

Interested in becoming an officer?
Officer roles give you hands-on leadership experience, a say in our events and outreach, and a strong professional network. Officer meetings are held before general meetings and are open to official ABG members.
Partnerships
We have a year-long partnership with Peer Rams, CCSF's peer mentorship program, which recruits second-year business students as mentors. Mentoring hours count toward your ABG community service requirement.

Before this site, the Zeta Beta Chapter's home online was our Weebly page, built and kept up by the officer teams who came before us. We're keeping it up as an archive in their honor.
What you'll find there
Past officer teams, older events and photos, and agendas and minutes from earlier semesters. Some information there is out of date, so use this site for anything current.
Future officers: check the archive when planning the year so nothing from past chapters gets lost.
